It has been over a month since my last post and I have much to share with you all! The month of June began a time of ministry that took us to 6 different churches in 4 different states in a period of 8 weeks. It was wonderful to get back on the road again and Angelo and I were blessed to be able to visit with pastors and friends who have been standing in faith with us for the last 8 months and rejoice together in the victories we have experienced, many of them which we attribute to the steadfastness of the prayers of God’s people while we were going through this season of our lives.
In the churches where we ministered, we were able to share our testimony of God’s faithfulness towards us and the response was amazing. So many people are going through tough circumstances and time and time again we were told how much it helped when they headr how the Father had been ministering His love and grace to us. Being at rest, in the middle of a storm, is not something that can be attributed to the natural ability of human beings, so it was evident that HIS GRACE was truly what had carried us to where we are today and our message was, ‘if God can do it for us – He can do it for you!’
During these 2 months of ministry, souls were saved, bodies were healed and lives were transformed by the Spirit of the Living God. It was wonderful to see that even in the midst of what many would consider one of the direst of circumstances, the Spirit of God was able to minister through Angelo to speak life and hope into hurting people. As one pastor in wrote, “We were totally blown away by the anointing that was on Angelo and the miracles that God performed through him. Because of the compassion that God has poured out upon him, he is able to pour out on others in a fresh way.” Now THAT is a testimony to the glory of God! Amen?!!
On the last leg of our journey we were blessed to be able to spend a week on the beach with our family and it was absolutely beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and having our entire family together – with Angelo feeling so incredibly good – was an answer to so many of our prayers, and we thank God for providing this wonderful gift to our family!
Many of you have inquired about Angelo’s health, so I wanted to give you an update on how he is doing physically. Let me start by saying that for the past few months he has felt really, really good! As you know from my previous messages, over the past few months God has supernaturally removed many of the effects of the cancer from his body and surrounded Angelo with divine protection. As a result, he has drastically improved physically and avoided almost all of the side effects of the drugs he has taken thus far and he has been able to resume all of his normal activities. His weight has held steady around 160 lbs. for some time now and much of the muscle mass he lost as a result of the cancer has been replenished – even while taking the chemotherapy treatments. Something that is quite remarkable in and of itself! In earlier posts I have chronicled the ongoing miracles we have seen, and looking back we all marvel at what God has done and is still doing in his body and we give Him glory for His healing power which has done great and mighty things!
We still believe God for a total and complete healing in every tissue and every organ in his body. Now, without going into great detail of what the doctor says, let me just share with you all that we still have our eyes on a miracle for Angelo and that we are still fighting the good fight of faith. The CT scan in July did not confirm what our heart is set upon and the CEA tumor markers are not where we want them to be. For the present time, Angelo will continue receiving medical treatment so we are asking that you, our friends and partners, stand with us in our prayers for God’s supernatural healing power to invade every cell in his body and for His divine protection to guard against any and all possible side effects of the drugs he is taking. They are changing up the mix at this point so we want to make sure we stay on top of things concerning His protection against the possible side effects.
Angelo is feeling good, his strength is back, and as much as he would like to resume a full schedule of traveling and preaching, this is not possible while he is still undergoing treatments. We are praying for open doors of ministry that can accommodate his schedule, and for God’s supernatural provision to cover us during this season of our lives when we are not as busy as we would like to be. We want you all to know that He has faithfully provided for our needs in such miraculous ways – all glory to Him – and we know He will not leave us or forsake us now! Many of you have been the very avenue of this supply that has kept our bills paid during these past several months and we are eternally grateful for all you have done for us.
We do have several projects we are currently working on when we are not on the road, so for us – ministry will continue, whether or not Angelo is in a pulpit preaching, or whether he is studying, writing and preparing for the days ahead.
There is an incredible amount of revelation we have received from the Lord during the past several months and we have shared a lot of this in the churches where we have ministered in, and the response has been overwhelming. The grace of God – His unmerited favor towards us – has transformed our lives and this is spilling over into our messages as it has so impacted our lives and become a part of who we are. We have learned that it is much more important to be looking at Jesus, than to try to look for His healing and that beholding Him is truly changing us from the inside out.
Once again, thank you for all your prayers and financial support. It means the world to us. If you would like to make a donation, you can go to http://angelosmiracle.com/donate/.
Blessings to you all,
Christy & Angelo

It’s Saturday, June 26th and I am writing to you from a hotel room in Paris! You’re shocked – right? Well, don’t be, it’s just Paris, Texas! Angelo and I are here with our 3 girls and we will be ministering tomorrow at Victorious Life Church in both the morning & evening services. Since my last post, Angelo has preached in 2 churches in Arkansas & at our home church, World Outreach Church of Tulsa! The meetings have been great and we are loving every minute of it!
We continue to give God praise for all He has done and for all He is doing in our lives and in our ministry. These past 6 months have been quite a learning experience for us and we are still in awe as we look back to some of the more difficult days we had and realize that God was with us all the time, guiding our steps and providing for our every need.
Angelo is putting the finishing touches on our ministry van and we are gearing up for our 2 ½ week road trip that will begin next Friday. We will be ministering in Groves, Texas at Morning Star Church on Saturday, July 3rd and Sunday, July 4th. Then we are headed to Florida to enjoy some time together with our kids! Some dear friends are letting us use their condo on the beach for an entire week & we are so blessed to have been given this precious gift! We are traveling by van with our 3 daughters, Stephanie, Kat and Tina! That in and of itself will be a blast! Then we will be joined by our son Isaac and our daughter Alisha & her husband Bryan! Together we will be CELEBRATING LIFE!!!!!
Angelo is doing great and continues to amaze everyone at his high energy and zeal for life! This week we were so excited to hear that his hemoglobin count was all the way up to 13.2!!! That is the highest it has been since his diagnosis! No wonder he has so much energy!!! Everything else is holding steady & we are continuing to praise God for His healing power that is working in every cell and every tissue in his body to make him every bit whole!
Thank you again for your prayers & support! We know that there are many of you who have spent precious time in prayer for our family and I don’t know how we could have made it through this without you. What could have been a very difficult journey has proven to be one of the most restful times of our lives and we know it is only by the grace of God that we are where we are today, enjoying the fruit of His supernatural peace that has kept our hearts and our minds upon Him.
Blessings to you all,
Christy

I can’t believe it has been so long since my last update, but to tell you the truth, it is getting so that from day to day our lives are so normal it’s hard to believe that we are still in a battle because Angelo is doing so well!!!
A Day of Awesome Ministry!
This past Sunday, June 6th was a very special day for us. We preached our first service of 2010! It was an awesome day! As most of you remember, back in April the doctor told Angelo that he could start to travel and minister and Angelo decided to target June as the month of his return to ministry since last fall he had already scheduled to preach in a church in Houston on the 6th. Anyway, we flew to Houston on Saturday and on Sunday morning I ministered the Word and testified how God has brought us through this journey thus far and how wonderful it has been to rest in Him and walk in His supernatural peace. I shared the victories and the triumphs, as well as the darker moments, when I wasn’t quite sure just how this would all turn out. I let the people know that even those days when I would fall prey to the fears and the doubts, Jesus was there right with me, just waiting for me to get my eyes off of the storm and look to Him – my Savior and my Deliverer – to comfort me and put His loving arms around me. He is so precious to me – always loving, never condemning, and just waiting patiently for us to surrender to His loving kindness.
After I finished preaching, I had the joy of ministering to a precious lady named Mama Brooks. She is the mother of Akilah, a woman I met on the about.com/coloncancer website. I have been on the forums since January, exchanging information with other colon cancer patients and taking the opportunity to share my faith in God and letting them know that God loves them and can help them through their battle with cancer. Anyways, I met Akilah on the website earlier in the week and when she found out that we were going to be in Houston on Sunday she asked her mom if they could come to church and meet us. They did and we were able to lay hands on her mom and pray over her. There was such a precious anointing of the Holy Spirit present and we were just so blessed to have been given the opportunity to speak into her life and give her and her daughter hope. Akilah’s father died of colon cancer back in 1998 and when she received the news of her mother’s diagnosis it was almost more than she could bear. I had written her several emails last week and I was so glad we had the opportunity to pray with her and give her some materials to feed on during this time. Friends, there are so many hurting people out there and we just have to do our best to reach them with the Good News.
Sunday afternoon the church hosted a staff luncheon where Angelo and I shared even more about what we had been through the past 6 months and some of the things that helped us through the really tough times. We encouraged the leaders to open their eyes and look around at the hurting people God had brought into their midst and be sensitive to their needs and realize that ministry is not always just spiritual in nature (although it can be) but that it also encompasses some of the practical side of living as well – something I think we all need to be more aware of. (Yes Kathy, I am working on my book !LOL!)
On Sunday evening, Angelo ministered and honestly it was one of the best sermons he has ever preached. He was full of compassion and the love of the Father just flowed from his innermost being. It was beautiful to watch as he spoke about his Father God telling him to rest in Him and cease from his own works and come into His presence and just receive. Of course this message was not really a surprise to me, for he has been basking in that love for the past several months, receiving revelation upon revelation of the grace of God and His unmerited favor towards us. (I must thank my friend Elanor for obeying the prompting of the Holy Spirit and giving us the copy of Destined to Reign by Joseph Prince last December when Angelo got out of the hospital; that book, along with Pastor Prince’s daily broadcasts were the tools God used to keep me out of the pit and set my eyes on the beauty of my Savior who beckons us to come and drink from the fountain that never runs dry! I praise God for helping me keep my eyes on Jesus when everything around me was pulling me farther and father down. It is a miracle that I may never have the words to explain – but Grace and Truth came and set me free.)
After Angelo preached the Word on Sunday night, he had an opportunity to minister to many people who were suffering from all kinds of physical and emotional ailments including 3 people battling cancer. As Angelo prayed over them and ministered to them, each of them testified to the changes in their bodies and gave God glory for what He was doing. One man came at the invitation of one of the worship leaders and he had been diagnosed with esophageal cancer. After Angelo prayed for him he asked him if he could tell a difference. The man told Angelo that he could swallow. When Angelo asked him to explain, he was crying and trying to tell us how different it felt and so Angelo took a bottle of water and told him to drink it. He gulped it down, tears streaming down his face and when he was done he told all of us that he could not do that before! He said that he could only take small sips at a time and now he could tell something had happened in his throat! Glory be to Jesus!!!
The next man who came forward told us that he had a brain tumor that had made him deaf in his left ear and blind in his left eye. After Angelo prayed over him, the man told him that his ear opened up and that he could hear out of that left ear! Then Angelo asked him if he had any pain in his body and was there anything else to indicate a change had taken place and he told us that he could not speak loudly or it would cause intense pain. He then proceeded to YELL at the top of his lungs, “HALLELUJAH!!!” It was awesome!
Several others came for ministry and we prayed over each one, believing that God would manifest His love and power in their lives. It was a very precious time for all of us as we witnessed the lives of so many people being touched by His tangible presence.
Friends, this is what we live for and this is our passion. We are in the ministry for the sake of hurting people and it is our desire to do this for the rest of our lives, which we believe will be a really, really long time!
I have never seen Angelo happier and I have never seen him more alive! The glory of God was resting on him in such a powerful way and I can’t tell you the joy I felt in my heart as I watched him preach and minister to this congregation. Several months ago I would not have thought he could have stood on that platform, with such strength in his body, soul and spirit, and minister to hurting people. I’m sorry, I know many of you think of me as a strong woman of God – and in Him I am – but honestly, back in January the image that was before me was not the man I witnessed preaching this Sunday! Praise God we have the victory and God is the God of Miracles!
Medical Update
Now, that is the news I really wanted to share with you, but I guess I also need to let you know about Angelo’s treatments and where we are headed with those. On Monday Angelo will have his 11th chemo treatment. His weight is now up to 159 lbs. which is a 6 lb. gain since the last doctor’s visit and they were very happy about that! At any rate, he has continued to be almost “side-effect” free and has been feeling really great! In July they are going to do another CT scan and we are continually believing God for a good report!
In the meantime we continue to praise God for all He has done and for all He is doing! I thank God every day when I look at my husband and realize what a miracle it is that he is alive! I thank God we caught it in time! I thank God that He provided the best medical care and paid for it all! I thank God that He took care of our family during these past 7 months when my husband was unable to work! I thank God that He is now opening doors of ministry and that people’s lives will be changed by our testimony and that Angelo is alive to tell his story! We have so much to be thankful for and our job is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and declare the riches of His grace!
Friends, I don’t know what you are going to do from this point on, but I would ask that you continue to lift us up before the throne of Grace and pray for us as we move forward and take this next step in our journey. The anticipation for great things to come is what stirs in our hearts and we intend to keep our focus on Him and on making Him known. We don’t want to spend our time focusing on the problems or challenges or all the “what ifs” because God has a job for us to do and we just want to be about our Father’s business.
Our hearts and minds are fixed on Him and we are looking forward to a blessed summer of ministry and time together. We will be traveling a lot over the next two months and we are excited about having our girls with us for many of these trips. Some precious friends have blessed us with a condo in Daytona Beach for a week in July and for a couple of days during that week we are going to enjoy having all of our children together with us for a celebration of life!!!
So rejoice with us and give thanks to God for He is worthy of all of our praise. We will keep you updated and if you have not become my friend on Facebook, make sure you put in a request for I usually have daily posts and it is the best way to keep up with the busy Mitropoulos family.
We love and appreciate you all,
Christy
P.S. After searching for several weeks we finally found a fullsize hi-top van and purchased it on Tuesday. It will be great for ministry travel and will accomodate our big family and all of stuff! We’ll post some pics on FB tomorrow!

On the Road Again!
As most of you know, about a month ago the doctor gave Angelo the okay to get back to work and start traveling once again. Well, the good news is that Angelo is feeling great and we are going back into full time ministry next month. We are still believing God for our miracle, but as we told you a couple of weeks ago, he believes it is important to step out in faith, start ministering in churches again, and walk out the remainder of his healing. God has done some awesome miralces in Angelo’s body and over the past 4 months he has gone from having about 5% of his normal strength to being almost 100% normal. Over the last couple of months he has gone from 129 lbs. to 153 and he is continuing to gain back the lean body mass he lost and gain two or three pounds every month! In all honesty, the last 6 months have been a real test and challenge to our faith; but God is still God, and God is still working miracles today!
Since my last post, things in the ministry have really started moving forward for Angelo and I and we are gearing up for the summer and we already have 5 churches booked for June and July!!! I can’t begin to tell you how exciting it is to be getting back into the pulpit! We have both missed it so much and are soooooo ready to go!!! We have so much to share with the body of Christ and we want to let people know just how much God cares about them and every single part of their lives. We have been through a very difficult season, but we can honestly say that Jesus has been here all the time and His grace is truly amazing. We have learned how to rest in the “finished work of Christ” and how to keep our eyes on Him when everything around us was screaming “you are finished!” Of course we have had to fight the fear and the doubts and keep our hearts and minds filled with what God says about our future! We believe that He has good things in store for us and we are determined to walk in it all and give all the glory to Him! Without Jesus – we would not be walking in the victory we enjoy today – and we know HE is the one who has held us up through it all.
Ministry Van Needed!
In addition to giving you this update on Angelo, we are also writing today to ask our friends and partners to help us with a financial need. Back in December, right after Angelo’s surgery, we sold our 1998 Chevy Ministry Van. It had almost 250,000 miles on it, was starting to give us some trouble, and we knew that when Angelo would return to traveling we would need something more dependable with less miles and the time has now come to make that purchase!! Praise the Lord!!
We have less than a month before we start full time traveling, so we are believing God to provide a full size van to replace the one we sold. We felt led to share this need today and if you would like to give towards the purchase of this van, we would really appreciate it.
You may give through PayPal from the link on the website, with a check made out to Mitropoulos Ministries, or if you would like, you can put your gift on your debit card. Just send me an email at mitropoulosministries@gmail.com and I can give you a call and you can give me your credit card information over the phone. If you are sending a check you can send it to Mitropoulos Ministries, P.O. Box 1711, Broken Arrow, OK 74013. (All of your gifts are tax-deductible and any excess funds that come in over and above the cost of the van will be put in the general ministry fund.)
Once again we want to thank you all for your continued prayers and support. You have been great source of strength to our entire family during this time and we thank God for all you have done for us.

Wednesday, May 5th
School is almost over and summer is right around the corner! As a home school mom I appreciate this more than you may ever know!!! Last night Angelo asked me, “Just how many years have you been homeschooling?” and I was shocked when I heard myself say, “About 25 years!” Wow! That is a long time, but I can honestly say that I love what I do and that I am passionate about teaching my children and helping them find their niche in life. The two oldest have definitely found theirs; the third is well on her way; the two youngest still have time, so I guess I’m doing okay!
Angelo is continuing to feel good and energetic and we thank God every day for His healing power that is flowing through every tissue and every organ in his body, bringing him to a place of health and wholeness, strengthening him with might by the Spirit who dwells in him!
He had his doctor’s appointment on Friday and all his blood work came back looking good so he was able to get treatment #8 on Monday. His WBC and RBC levels had dropped just a little bit in the past two weeks, but nothing alarming – just something to target in our prayers over the next couple weeks.
We did get a REALLY GOOD REPORT I want to share and that was that his CEA tumor markers had dropped to 73!!!! That is a 65% drop (down from 212) since his last test which was just 5 weeks ago! (Let me remind you that he started at 813 so it has dropped 91% since January!!!) What a testimony to the awesome healing power of God!!! Can you say GLORY TO GOD???!! That does not mean that we are out of the woods yet, but what it does indicate is that the prayers and treatment are reducing the size and activity of the tumors in his liver and THAT is a very good report!
These past 5 months have been such a walk of faith but we are more determined than ever to beat this dreaded disease and help other people do the same. I have joined a forum for colon cancer patients and have been able to minister to many of them and share the good reports of what God has done in our lives and so many have been blessed and encouraged. One gentleman who lives in New Zealand has been following our progress and told us the other day after reading my post on their website that my “positive attitude was infections” and that he was now thinking about going to a healing meeting with a friend that has been asking! We told him to “go for it” and that we would believe God for a miracle of healing in his life too!
One thing we decided to do from the very beginning of this journey is not to hide from the world while we were going through this tough time. That is exactly what the enemy would like to do to all of us when we get attacked – try to cause us shame and get us to isolate ourselves from everyone. Well, thank God we did not do that and because of it we have been able to receive help from our friends and be a light to others and very soon we are going to be back on the road again and preaching a message of love and hope to hurting people!
We will begin with some short trips in June and then hopefully a fuller schedule starting in July! As much as we had hoped to be able to wave around a doctor’s report declaring Angelo free and clear of all tumors and cancer cells before we got back on the road, we have decided that should we not be handed that report– we are going to walk this miracle out by faith! We cannot just sit and wait for the other shoe to drop. That is not living – it is just waiting to die and we refuse to live our lives that way. Angelo is soooo ready to get back into the pulpit and minister to hurting people and I am with him 100%! As I said to someone else yesterday, our ministry has never stopped! Although we have not been on the road for several months, we minister every day to each other, to our children, to our friends and family, to strangers we meet in the hospital or doctor’s office or online and most importantly to the Lord Jesus Christ – but we really miss the road life and are looking forward to getting back into the groove!
Finally, we want to thank you all for your prayers and financial support! Without it I don’t know how we could have made it through these past 5 months. You have been our stabilizing factor and we thank God for each and every one of you who has reached out to us with your love, encouragement and financial help. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
We still have some challenging months ahead as we endeavor to transition back into the workforce and continue to stand for the miracle of healing in Angelo’s body and we appreciate you sticking with us during this time. I know that when you hear the reports of how energetic Angelo feels or see how good he looks compared to just 3 months ago, it is tempting to relax and think, it’s done – but we need to keep our guard up and continue to stand, now that we have done all to stand! So please - do not stop your prayers!
For those of you who would like to continue to give and receive a tax deduction for your giving, you may make your checks payable to Mitropoulos Ministries . P O Box 1711 . Broken Arrow, OK 74013.
Until next time,
Christy & Angelo
Monday, April 19th
Spring is finally here and the trees are blooming and the flowers are starting to spring up in our garden. Everywhere we look we see new life and we thank God for the changing seasons and that winter is finally over!
In the Mitropoulos’ household we have entered into a season of joy and we feel like every day is a blessing from our precious heavenly Father. Recalling the shock that we felt when we received the news of Angelo’s diagnosis that rocked our world just 4 months ago, it is hard to imagine that something so horrific could produce a peace and rest that words cannot explain, yet that is precisely what has happened to us. He is our Peace and we are resting in the finished work of Christ!
Now I would be lying to you if I told you we did not go through a myriad of emotions at the onset of this news, or if I told you that we never experienced any doubt or fear; we are human and have had all of familiar reactions you would expect at such a startling report. The difference in where we are today – and where we could be – lies in the things we choose to look at continuously, not those things that get a fleeting glance.
On the medical front – we are praising God for more good reports. Once again, thanks be to Jesus, Angelo’s blood work came back Friday looking really good. Thank you for your targeted prayers – we saw a needed increase in several areas that had previously dropped. His white blood cells, which had dropped to 2.8 on April 2nd have jumped back up to 6.4 (normal is 4.8 to 10.8); the Neutrophils have gone from 1.2 to 4.0 (normal is 1.9 to 8.0.); his platelets have gone from 150 to 185 (normal is 130 to 400) and his hemoglobin (red blood cells) has finally reached a 12.0 which they tell us is a great number for anyone diagnosed with cancer, receiving chemotherapy. We are still shooting for the 14.0 and expect to see the numbers continue to climb up each time the tests are run! Angelo’s weight is up to 145 and he is steadily gaining the weight he had lost. The comparative analysis of the CT scan he had a few weeks ago finally came back and it showed that all of the tumors had been reduced in size. We are still believing God to see them ALL GONE – but we are going to praise HIM for every victory we get along the way!
Angelo just completed his 7th round of chemotherapy this afternoon, and as I am typing this message he is outside, weeding the garden! We thank God that he has continued to live free of most of the expected side effects that usually accompany this particular protocol of chemotherapy and that he has been able to successfully target any that have tried to sneak up on him!!! His strength and energy is incredible and he has really been feeling good! Even today at the hospital, while getting his treatment, he ministered to a man named Randall who was receiving a blood transfusion. They exchanged stories and after listening to Angelo give praise for all God has done for him during the past few months, Randall said that he wanted God to do the same for him!!! He wanted to believe for a miracle. Randall’s doctors have told him there is nothing else they can do for him and have told him to just get his affairs in order. He asked for prayer and we ministered to him, releasing our faith on his belhalf. Randall has as much right to a miralce as we do and we are going to do everything we can to encourage him to receive it!
Lastly, we mentioned a couple of weeks ago that Angelo was looking forward to getting back on the road and preaching full time again. This should be possible by July when he has completed all 12 chemo treatments.
Until he can return to work however, we are still trusting God to provide for all of our needs, which He has so wondrously done through the love and support of our friends and family. Our Father God is a good provider and we thank Him daily for taking care of us and moving upon the hearts of individuals and churches to help us during this time. It has been a great testimony to the glory of God to see the body of Christ reach out with such love and compassion and help us during this time of need.
To all of you who have prayed for us, sent cards, letters & emails, called to encourage us and/or support us financially during this time – we owe you a great deal of gratitude. We could not have done this on our own and we thank God for each and every one of you, for all you have done to show your love and care for us. Your continued giving enables us to focus on Angelo’s health and the fact that we have not had to be concerned about Angelo not being able to work for this season, and have been virtually stress-free about the finances, and that we have been able to keep up with all of our household needs has been a tremendous blessing to us and our children. Just like when the Apostle Paul commended the church at Philippi for ministering to his needs and helping him out and declared to them, “my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Phil 4:19)
We pray that our Father will bless you all abundantly for all you have done for us as well and meet your every need!
Once again we thank you so very much,
Christy
Sunday, April 4th – Easter Morning!!
“But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. (Romans 8:11)
On this Easter Morning – when we celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ – our Lord and Savior – I want to declare to everyone that the Holy Spirit – the VERY ONE who raised Christ from the dead – HE has made His home in Angelo and is giving LIFE to him – restoring and quickening his physical body, by that SAME Spirit that gave LIFE to our Risen Savior! Hallelujah!!!!
As most of you know, Angelo had his doctor’s appointment on Friday and we were supposed to discuss the results of the CT scan he had on Wednesday with his oncologist. Unfortunately, the individual who interpreted the scan did not do a comparative analysis of that scan with the previous one done in January like the doctor had hoped he would, so until they obtain that information we are not going know just what kind of changes have taken place in his liver, and that may take a week or so for them to get back with us. However, what they did tell us in the report is that the scan showed that there are still tumors present in his liver, so we will continue to fight the good fight of faith and declare that Angelo will live and not die and declare the wonderful works of our Lord!
As for the blood work he had done on Friday, we were encouraged by yet another climb in Angelo’s red blood cell count which was at 11.9 (up from 11.4 only 2 weeks ago). We are still targeting somewhere between 14.0 to 17.0 to get him out of the “anemic range” so please continue to stand and pray with us on that count. Also, his white blood cell count and his neutrophils were down a little this week, but the doc gave the ‘go ahead’ for Monday’s chemo treatment, however we are praying for those numbers to increase as well.
One really encouraging bit of news we got on Friday was that his CEA tumor marker had dropped drastically. Most of you may not be familiar with what that number indicates, but it is basically what they look at to determine tumor activity in a patient’s body. Angelo’s count started at 813 in January. A healthy person’s count is usually between 1 and 6. After just two chemo treatments and the prayers of so many people that have been interceding for Angelo, the count went down to 517. The following month it was 509 and Angelo’s doctor thought that he had ‘leveled out’ and that we would not see much change on Friday. Well, Glory to God – we shocked them all!!! On Friday, that number dropped to 212 representing an almost 50% drop since his last test on March 5th!! The doctor was amazed!!! That in itself is a testimony to the miracle working power of God! And with or without a comparative analysis, that is evidence that Angelo’s body is responding favorably to the prayer & medicine and we give all the glory to God!
Another bit of good news was that Angelo’s oncologist gave him the release to go back on the road and start traveling a little bit and preaching once again! Praise You Jesus!!!!! Of all the news we received on Friday, that was probably one of the most encouraging things we could have heard as Angelo and I are very eager to get back in the pulpit and share our testimony and do everything we can to help other people going through tough times get their eyes on Jesus – the Author and Finisher of our faith!!!
Of course even without the full CT report, Angelo would be the first to tell you that changes have happened in his body and the rest of the family would say a loud AMEN to that! Since his diagnosis in December, we have seen so many miracles and changes in his body it is absolutely incredible. In fact, we wanted to do a little bit of our own comparative analysis for you!
From the time of his surgery in December, until the end of January, this is basically what life was for Angelo:
On February 1st we sent urgent messages and emails to our friends and partners, asking for your prayers. We experienced an immediate response to our cry for help and many began to join their faith with ours for a miracle breakthrough for Angelo. I cannot begin to tell you what a relief it was when the turnaround came that week and he began to feel increased energy come into his body and the horrible symptoms he had been experiencing began to go away.
As of today, we are happy to report that our united prayers are making a difference and this is now what life is like for Angelo:
So you see, we have so much to be thankful for and we rejoice at all that our Father has done and all the miracles we have received over the past several months. There have been days when I did not know how we were going to make it through this and I just thank God for giving us His Word and for the Spirit of God, who has led us through this difficult time, comforting us continually and giving us a fresh revelation of the healing power of Jesus Christ. We are so thankful that we are not alone and we thank God for the many, many wonderful people who are standing with us and continuing to lift us up in prayer. It means the world to us.
All we can say is thank you, thank you, thank you.

Sorry it has been so long since my last post. I meant to get an update online after Angelo’s last appointment but somehow the days have gotten away from me! Anyway, things have been going amazingly well and we thank God continually for His healing power that has been manifesting in Angelo’s body. His last doctor’s appointment was Friday and his blood work showed that his hemoglobin count went from a 10.9 to 11.5. As you know, we have seen a gradual increase every week and are looking forward to it being in the normal range (14 to 17) very soon. From the last visit, Angelo had also put on 6 lbs. so we rejoice in that as well!!
Every day is a testimony to the power of God working mightily in Angelo and we are so thankful for the love of our Father and the power of united prayer which is so evident in the healing that is taking place. The doctor has been in awe of the progress he has seen and has even ordered another CT scan to view the progress in Angelo’s liver. I don’t know if he has ever seen a patient have such remarkable results such a short time and we love being able to give glory to God for all He has done and is doing in his life.
The CT scan will be sometime next week and I promise to post after his appointment on Friday.
Thank you all for your prayers and support. We love and appreciate you all more than you know.

It’s been 11 days since my last post and I’m happy to say that things have been going really well! Your prayers are working!!!! Glory to God!!!!
The past several weeks have been a testimony to the power of God working in Angelo as he has experienced a continuing strengthening of his physical body even while going through chemotherapy . . . something that even the doctor marvels at!!!
Every day Angelo seems to get stronger than the day before and the life I see in his eyes is evident of the power of God that is working a miracle in his body!
We went to the doctor today, and once again we are seeing improvement in his liver function evidenced by the levels reported in his bilirubin, albumin & alkaline phosphatase, which are all close to normal now! Praise the Lord!!! The WBC was a little low today, but not in the danger zone (still, let’s pray that does not drop) and his hemoglobin count went from 10.0 to 10.9 – still not at the 14.0 -17.0 we want to see, but it is increasing and his body is responding to our prayers and the iron supplements he is taking!!! So let’s keep at it!!! The doctor (who is listening to our confession of faith each time we see him) said that for Angelo, (who he knows has an army of prayer warriors fighting with him) “prayer is not a suggestion for you, rather a requirement!” He is blown away by the incredible pace at which Angelo is improving and we want to keep him stunned!!! Amen!!!
Angelo has every intention of beating this disease and I am certain he will do just that! He is believing God for total and complete healing of every tissue and organ in his body and I am standing in faith with him as I hope you are as well. One thing we are still concerned about is that his weight has dropped down to 134 lbs. which is a 42 lb. weight loss for him – and this has been mostly lean body mass. We are working with a Dietician to build up his weight with some supplements (and prayer, of course) and we want to see a good improvement in that area before he tries to get back into full time traveling.
Angelo is hoping to get that release to gradually start back on the road by June, and until then we are trusting God to take care of our family and we are confident that He will meet our every need. We have been so blessed by the love and compassion shown to our family and we appreciate all that has been done for us.
As most of you know, ministry was our livelihood and without Angelo preaching, we have not had the usual supply of finances coming in through church offerings. We have had to believe God to minister to our needs in a totally different way. Over the past week I have had several of our friends ask how we are doing financially, and when I have told them where we stand, they encouraged me to write to you and let you know how you can help now.
As you know, Angelo has not been able to work for nearly 5 months now. Because of the financial gifts we received from our family, friends and partners over the past few months, our needs have been met and our bills have been paid and we thank God for His faithfulness to us.
When the website (www.angelosmiracle.com) was designed by a couple of our friends, they had hoped to be able to raise monthly support to cover all of our expenses for at least a year. However, that has not been the case.
We are still believing God for funds to come in on a regular basis – so if you are wondering if we could still use your financial support – THE ANSWER IS YES!
Whether you can give each month for the next several months, or if you want to give a one time gift – anything you can do while Angelo is receiving treatment and recovering from this attack will be a tremendous blessing to our family. We thank God for each and every gift and pray that He will bless you abundantly as you sow into our lives!
We continue to Praise God for all He has done and all He is doing!
We give him all the glory,
Christy

Dear friends,
Angelo and I want to thank you all for your prayers and continued support and give you a Praise Report to let you see how powerful the effectual, fervent prayers of the righteous really are!
As most of you know from following the updates on this website, Angelo has gone through quite a bit since mid-December when he had the tumor removed from his colon. As I shared with you a couple of weeks ago, the oncologist was concerned that the cancer had spread so fast that he would not be able to start treatment to help him and without it, they only gave him 1-3 months to live. Well, thanks to your prayers, he had a turn for the better and the doctor was able to go ahead and begin chemotherapy 4 weeks ago. The first 2 sessions went really well with hardly any side effects, and Friday the doctor saw what happens when you get the body of Christ praying for you while undergoing treatment!
First of all, the fluid that had been accumulating in his abdomen which caused a great deal of pain and discomfort and hindered his ability to eat . . . well, it has completely gone! It was a bit of a shock to everyone that Angelo had lost 13 lbs in the past 2 weeks, but the doc said he believed it was entirely due to the loss of fluid the tumor had been producing! He had hoped that the chemo would slow down the production of this fluid and start to give Angelo some relief and I think it is fair to say that the doctor was stunned to see Angelo’s stomach back to normal and the fluid completely gone . . . but he was genuinely happy with the results!
Another praise report is that Angelo’s liver – which had been grossly enlarged because of the mass of tumors which were present – was previously palpable (that means you could feel it during a physical examination – and in a normally healthy individual that is not normal.) Well, it was almost undetectable on Friday and his bilirubin count (this is an indicator of liver damage and/or jaundice) was down to 1.1 on Friday! Normal range is anywhere from 0.2 to 1.6 – so we were thanking God for that awesome report!
One thing we are focusing on now is to increase the Hemoglobin (Red Blood Cell count). He is presently at 10.0 (Normal for men is 14.0 to 17.0) This is a sign of anemia, and this count has been low since November when he first went to the doctor. You can pray and agree with us that those red blood cells will begin to multiply in his body. The rest of his blood work came back looking really good with everything within normal range – White Blood count at 6.5 (normal is 4.8 to 10.8) ; Neutrophil count (these are the infection fighters) was 4.1 (normal is 1.9 to 8.0); Platelet count (these are the clotting agents) was 262 (normal is 103-400).
So as you can see, all of this was such an encouragement to us and we continue to thank God for the power of prayer and the anointing of God being released into his body daily! Medical science says that you cannot take chemotherapy without damaging the good cells in your body. Well, the Word of God says, “with God all things are possible” (Mark 9:23) so we are believing God to destroy the cancer cells while protecting the good cells with His anointing that flows through every cell and tissue in his body and the blood tests that came back Friday are proof that it can be done!!!
Today is round #3 of chemo. Friday night Angelo was ministered to by Pastor Hagin at Rhema’s Winter Bible Seminar and Sunday night he was ministered to by Pastor Mark Brazee, our pastor at World Outreach Church of Tulsa and this morning we are receiving communion before we go – to remember what the Lord Jesus did for us – so Angelo will have gotten his “God infusion” before the chemo even starts. GLORY!!!
So – that is our PRAISE REPORT!!! We continue to give God ALL THE GLORY for what HE HAS DONE and for what HE IS DOING to bring Angelo’s body into perfect health. Thank you again for your prayers in this matter.
Love to you all,
Christy

It’s been 10 days since my last post, so I wanted to give you all an update and let you know how things have been going. Angelo received his 2nd chemo treatment on Monday, Feb. 8th and everything went well – exactly what we were praying and believing God for. He has supernaturally avoided almost all of the side effects we were warned about that might accompany these treatments and we give God ALL the glory for that! I won’t even go into the detail of some of the things he could have experienced - but let me tell you this – it is SUCH a blessing to have God on your side and know that He will cause “all things to work together for GOOD” when you love Him and are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28) The Psalm 91 prayers are working!!!! (See Feb 6th Post below)
Angelo is looking and feeling stronger every day. A lot of the pain and discomfort in his abdominal region has been reduced and we are looking for total relief to come forth quickly! Where he was sleeping for hours and hours every couple of days because of being up virtually all night long for days on end, he is now enjoying a good night’s sleep nearly every night and has been able to be up and active during the day! We believe his red blood cells are multiplying and strengthing his body every day and that not only will every cancer cell in his body be destroyed, but that God will supernaturally restore health unto him and repair his muscles and tissues which have been attacked by these cancer cells.
We have been in the Word of God and ministering unto the Lord daily, meditating upon the promises of God and delighting ourselves in the Lord! We are seeing the revelation of the finished work of Christ in a new and refreshing way – and His Grace is abounding toward us! The only labor we are engaged in at this time is that of “laboring to enter into His rest” as that is one directive Angelo received from the Lord at the onset of this attack. And truly that place of rest is amazing!!!!
Our Father God is loving and kind and His mercies are new every morning! We are expecting great things from Him and our hearts are comforted and we are at peace because of what He is doing in our lives.
Thank you for your continued prayers of faith and for standing with us for his miracle of healing. Rejoice with us – for greater is He that is IN us, than he that is in the world!! (1 John 4:4

First of all I want to thank each and every one of you for standing with us at this time. The prayer and support from our family and friends has been such an encouragment to us and has made such a difference in our lives. I don’t know how anyone walks through such a trial without knowing the Lord and having the body of Christ surrounding them with love and prayers. As hard as it is for us to get through each day – I cannot imagine what it would be like without Jesus.
Anyway, to bring you up to date – I want you to know that this past week has been a testimony to the power of prayer. After sending out the urgent note on Monday – asking you to hold us up in your prayers and pray for strength in Angelo’s body – we saw an immediate change in his physical condition. The rest of the week went so much better and we give glory to God for all He has done.
We went back to the doctor yesterday - not knowing if Angelo would be able to continue treatment, but trusting God for wisdom and direction – and received word that the first chemo treatment had produced the desired results and shown improvement in his body. It was not a huge change – but it was a move in the right direction. His white blood cell count was good and his hemoglobin count had gone from 8.9 to 9.7 in just 5 days – so that was very good news. He is still considered to be anemic (he should be at 14 or better) but we are going to keep praying over that and believe it will continue to improve.
His next treatment is on Monday and what we are believing God for is this: that the Spirit of God will supernaturally direct the chemo to go after and destroy the cancer cells in his body and leave the good cells alone. We are standing on the Word of God and here is how I am praying over his treatment according to Psalm 91. I am saying,
Angelo dwells in the secret place of the Most High
and abides under the shadow of the Almighty.
Angelo says of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.”
Surely our Father God will deliver him from the the trap the devil has set for him
And from the cancer that has tried to invade his body.
He will surround Angelo with divine protection provided for in the new covenant.

Today Angelo had his first chemotherapy treatment at St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa. Before we left home we spent some time in prayer and worship and took communion together. We arrived at the hospital at 10:00am and by about 12 noon the chemo was underway. It took a little while to get him situated and all hooked up, but the process was not too bad. The facilities at St. John’s are really nice and we were situated at the end of the ward where we had a beautiful view and the sun was shining and we just felt the favor of God surrounding us. Angelo tolerated all the meds wonderfully and has had no side effects. He came home, rested a bit and then wanted a hamburger with onion rings from Sonic! Now, most of you know that Angelo is NOT a fast food kind of guy but I certainly was not going to tell him, “NO!” so I went and got him exactly what he wanted!! (After all, after being warned of possible side effects including nausea – I was thrilled he wanted to eat in the first place !!!) He ate it all and he feels great! (Now – don’t you heatlh food fanatics write and tell me he shouldn’t eat hamburgers – after dropping 36 lbs. the doctors have told us that he should eat whatever he wants and not be overly concerned about WHAT he eats – just THAT he eats!!!)
We will continue to give you updates and let you know how to direct your prayers. For now just continue to thank God for strengthening his body and for the chemotherapy to attack the cancer cells and leave the good cells alone! We are also believing God for Angelo to get some needed sleep – something which has not been possible for the past few days.
We love and appreciate you all standing with us and for your posts on the FB page and words of encouragement.

Many of our friends have asked us to keep them informed and let them know what the doctors are telling us and exactly what we are dealing with in Angelo’s physical body. The following is a summary of what the doctors have found and what we are fighting. We want you to know that we are believing God for a miracle – and what I am going to share is strictly from the medical point of view and is all subject to change! However, having said that, we do want you to know how you can join your faith with ours to see Angelo restored to health.
The CAT scan taken on January 8th showed that the liver is grossly enlarged with innumerable tumors throughout. Medical science says that there is no cure for stage four colon cancer but the doctor has recommend a particular drug therapy which will target the liver specifically to destroy the cancerous cells in the liver itself and prevent the spread of cancerous cells to other organs in his body and will seek out and destroy cancer cells which have already found their way into his lymph nodes and abdominal cavity. This treatment is scheduled to begin January 25th and treatments will occur every 2 weeks for a total of 12 treatments. We have been advised of the risks and benefits of this treatment, and after prayerful consideration and discussion with our family and close friends, Angelo and I believe that this is the direction we should take at this time. We have the liberty to opt out at any time, at our discretion, and we will be led by the Spirit of God in this, as we have in everything else thus far.
There are some side effects that may possibly occur with this treatment – so we are using our faith to target these and believing God for His grace upon Angelo and the entire family while he is going through the treatment. Rather than list all the possible side effects, we will post specific prayer requests should any of these side effects need to be addressed in prayer. For now, just pray for strength in Angelo’s physical body so that he can receive the greatest benefits possible.
Since our last posting on January 7th – Angelo has had some really good days and days that have presented some challenges. He is still battling low grade fevers, especially at night – which have kept him from really sleeping well, as well as some challenges with eating. We need for him to have a rested body and for his appetite to stay strong so that he does not lose any more weight (he is holding at 140 which is 36 lbs below his normal weight);he also needs to stay well hydrated (sometimes he just isn’t thirsty and does not want to drink and he has to force himself to do so.)
His energy level has been fairly low due to the anemia – so we need to see those red blood cells increase. In addition we need his platelets to stay above 100,000. He is getting his CBC on Tuesday so we will know exactly what his count is at that time and where we stand.
Other than that – we are doing pretty well. We are really at a good place in God right now – and we are resting in Him. I’m not just saying that either – to sound spiritual – it is a FACT – and it is truly AMAZING. Rest is a wonderful place and when you know God has your life in His hands – rest is not a hard thing to do. Worry comes when you are not sure what He is doing – and honestly, we have not had to battle worry very much.
The miracles of provision are too many to list – and each day we are blown away by how awesome our God is. The divine connections and the favor of God that has gone before us is incredible. I really could write a book just on that aspect alone. But I will refrain from doing that now ![]()
I will try to get updates posted each week just to let you know what’s happening, but know that you can message me at any time if you have a scripture God has quickened to you or if you have an encouraging word you would like to share with us.
We thank God for each and every one of you who has joined the FB group and want you to know that we appreciate you taking the time to pray for us and believe with us for Angelo’s miracle.
Angelo will live and not die and declare the wonderful works of our Lord.
With love,
Christy

First of all I want to thank all of you who have joined your faith with ours for the miracle healing in Angelo’s body. We have been so touched by your words of encouragment, prayers of faith and gifts of love – it has been a tremendous comfort to know we are not alone in this battle.
I wanted to give you an update on Angelo’s condition and let you know how you can stand in faith with us at this time. As most of you know, On December 16th, after doctors had tried unsuccessfully for 2 months to rid him of the pain and discomfort in his body through various antibiotics and meds, Angelo underwent a colonoscopy in order to see if there was something going on in his colon that could be the source of these symptoms. The procedure revealed a large tumor in his colon that had been causing all of his problems; he was immediately admitted to the hospital and was scheduled for surgery that evening. Surrounded by family and friends, I received news around 11pm that they had removed the section of his colon where the tumor was located, but that there was a large mass on his liver and other tumors in his abdomen that were inoperable. The doctor said that Angelo had stage four colon cancer and that he probably had about 12 months to live. Since the surgery, pathology reports have confirmed the findings.
As you can imagine, this was not the report we wanted to hear, and certainly not what we had expected, but it was nonetheless something we were going to have to face and trust God to see us through. The next several days, while Angelo was still in the hospital, we began to see the body of Christ arise and take their place - next to us - in this battle. Immediately, the troops of warriors surrounded us with their love and prayers, and held up our arms as Aaron and Hur did for Moses (Ex 17:10-13).
At this point in time, Angelo is still recovering from the surgery, and every day we are walking in faith, believing God for a miracle. Unlike some diagnoses, this one does not come with much hope for recovery apart from a miracle from God. Modern medicine can only do so much – so our faith and hope is in our God. It is under His wings that we trust. He is our refuge. He is our GOD.
For a man who has preached faith for over 30 years and brought healing to hurting people all over the world, it is quite a change to be in the position of needing a miracle of healing for himself, but we know that the Word of God is the foundation upon which we stand, and it is the same Holy Spirit who has worked through him to minister healing to others – who will manifest healing in his own body.
Periodically, I will let you know what we are targeting specifically, and how you can stand in faith with us. I know that there are many who feel that to publish these things is to give voice to the attacks of the enemy – but our thoughts on this are as follows:
We are a part of the body of Christ – a living organism – I Corinthians 12;25 says, “there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other.” Verses 12-13 say, “The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ. For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.” Verses 26-27 say, “If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.” We recognize that he is not just an individual who has been attacked - but that this is an attack on HIS body – of which you are all a part. So if we are suffering – so are you.
When you choose to join in the fight – you are acknowledging the fact that we are joined together by His Spirit – and you fight for Angelo’s healing as you would your own. The victory that we will enjoy is yours to enjoy as well, for we are One body in Him.
Having said all of that, let me bring you up to date on Angelo’s condition. Angelo was discharged from the hospital on December 21st. Since that time he has been at home recovering, getting the rest he needs and positioning himself for a miracle. He has set his heart on receiving this miracle from God and has been spending time in God’s Word – feeding his spirit on what God says – and fellowshipping with Jesus his healer, and fully expecting the Holy Spirit to reveal Christ, the Healer to him and bring this manifestation of God’s healing power into every cell in his body.
Since his discharge from the hospital we have had to fight extreme fatigue, severe diarrhea, fevers, night chills, lack of appetite and dehydration. Some days are better than others, but we continue to press in. Angelo is not depressed but has a very positive outlook on life itself – planning his future and looking forward to the day when he can return to the pulpit and share his testimony of how God delivered him and healed him from this disease.
So, having said all of that, here is how you can help Angelo and I at this time. Please join with us in thanking God:
1. For the physical and spiritual strength he needs to stand strong against the sickness trying to take over his physical body. We have told the cancer that it cannot live in his body and that healing belongs to him. We are speaking life to him and commanding healing to enter every cell in his body.
“Thank you Father, according to the riches of Your glory, that you strengthened Angelo with might through Your Spirit in his inner man, that Christ may dwell in Angelo’s heart through faith; that Angelo, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that he may be filled with all the fullness of God.” (Ephesiand 3:15-19)
“Thank you Father, that the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in Angelo, and He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to his mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in him.” (Romans 8:11)
2. For the wisdom of God to know what to do, day by day, as we stand and fight.
“Thank you Father that where Angelo and Christy need wisdom, that you give it to them generously, without finding fault, and it will be given to them. (James 1:5)
3. For meeting all of our financial needs during this time and for relieving Angelo from any and all concerns of how his family would be taken care of while he is out of work.
“Thank you Father that you are supplying all their needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Phil. 4:19)
Our deepest gratitude to all of you who are standing with us at this time. You cannot imagine the impact your prayers and your giving have had upon our family and the peace of God that is ruling and reigning in our hearts. It is truly a testimony to the power of united prayer and the power of the love of God when it is released into the realm of the spirit where there is no time or distance.
We love you all deeply and thank God for you every day. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.
